Namaste Go Heritage India Journeys, I dealt with Go Heritage India Journeys for my Indian Maharaja Train journey in December last year and I guess it has been the smartest thing that I did during my last tour to India. Right from picking us up from the airport in a nice and clean car and dropping us comfortably to the station, your team did a excellent job. Our trips, as per the Indian Maharaja itinerary were very comfortable and we had a deeper understanding whatsoever with the stoppages we made. Apart from the train booking, they made sure we got the best of the hotels according to our budget and that we did not miss out on any major attractions.
We would love to come back again to India very soon and when if we do that we would certainly deal with Go Heritage India Journeys assistance.
And I guess everyone must try that too, because they offer customised tour packages at a reasonable rate and definitely lives up to our expectations.

Day 1 - Wednesday - Departure Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be heartily welcomed by our representative. Transfer to hotel.Post Lunch explore the cultural, historical and political capital of India, Delhi. A tour to Delhi takes you to Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan.
In the evening, proceed to the railway station to board the luxury train - The Indian Maharaja - Deccan Odyssey.
Dinner will be served on board.
Day 02 - Thursday - Agra
The Indian Maharaja train will arrive at Bharatpur early in the morning. Post breakfast on-board, drive to Agra and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri.Highlights of the Day: Palace built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar at Fatehpur Sikri, the architectural splendor Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.
Dinner on board and then proceed to Jaipur
Day 03 - Friday - Jaipur
Early morning arrival at Jaipur, the Pink City.After breakfast on board, proceed for a tour to Jaipur.
Highlights of the day: Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory), shopping at the local markets of Jaipur.
Lunch and Dinner will be served on board.
Overnight journey to Sawai Madhopur.
Day 04 - Saturday - Sawai Madhopur
Star your day before sunrise. Early in the morning visit the Ranthambhore National Park. Take the pleasure in the Jungle Safari at Ranthambhore which was once the private ground of Maharajas of Rajasthan now turned into a National Park. You can easily spot tigers here.After lunch, enjoy the afternoon Jungle Safari at the Ranthambhore National Park till the dusk when it’s time to board the train. Dinner will be served on board. The train departs for its nest destination Udaipur.
Day 05 - Sunday - Udaipur
In the morning, the train will arrive at the City of Lakes- Udaipur.Post brunch on board, disembark the luxury train to have a city tour of Udaipur.
Udaipur is an oasis of lakes in the desert state of Rajasthan. Udaipur provides a panoramic view of hills surrounding the Lake Pichola. The city provides enough space to the couples to treat their eyes in the picturesque natural surroundings.
Highlights of the day: Lake Pichola, City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake and the Sahelion-ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple
After a Gala Dinner at city hotel, board The Indian Maharja for onward journey.
Day 06 - Monday - Aurangabad
In the morning the train arrives at Daulatabad.Post breakfast, proceed to the famous Ellora Caves, a World Heritage Site. Ellora caves is home to the age-old temples of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
Lunch will be served at City hotel.
Post lunch; drive to the Ajanta Caves Explore the Ajanta caves dating back to 200 B.C. Also visit Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki at Aurangabad.
After spending a whole day at the Ajanta-Ellora Caves, embark an air-conditioned coach to reach the awaiting The Indian Maharaja Train.
Over night journey to Mumbai.
Day 07 - Tuesday - Mumbai
